BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA, JANUARY 12, 2017 - Victoria Napolitano is thrilled to announce that she is submitting her brand-new short film to the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
Napolitano’s short film, Piano Dresses, features Joshua Frederic Smith, Lilian Rosenblum, and Vladislava Skortsova and a plot that shows the choice a person has to make when it comes to love.
The film was shot in captivating locations including Saratoga, California; Incline Village, Lake Tahoe; Cupertino, California; San Jose, California, and Los Gatos, California.
“The backdrop for this film had to be Villa Montalvo, a historic landmark built in 1912 in Saratoga California it appreciates and supports the arts,” said Napolitano. She goes on to comment, “The film starts with one of my favorite poems written by Elizabeth Akers Allen in 1912, 'Rock Me To Sleep' a poem my mother read to me as a child. I still remember sitting on the floor looking up at her as she read it to me over and over, again.”
Piano Dresses will offer the same artistry and romance that Napolitano weaves into all of her works. She looks forward to having her short film featured at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.
