Join us for this month’s meeting for an interactive and engaging workshop: Own Your Narrative – Crafting Your Personal Brand. In today’s competitive landscape, clarity and a value proposition are essential.

This session is designed to help participants define where they create the most value and communicate it with confidence. Together, we’ll explore how to translate individual strengths and skills into opportunities by aligning them with current market demand. 

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how a clear value proposition serves as the foundation for differentiation, growth, and expanded possibilities. Whether advancing a career or building a business, a strong personal brand shapes perception and ultimately influences the opportunities that follow. 

By the end of the session, attendees will walk away with a refined personal narrative and a focused direction aligned with where they want to go. 

Led by Emily Kosko 

Emily Kosko is a business strategist and lecturer at the University of Southern California, where she teaches digital media and entrepreneurship. Her work focuses on helping individuals and brands translate ideas into scalable opportunities through strategic positioning and digital growth.

She is the founder of StartGrow and GloBu Media, where she works with businesses to build authority and visibility in today’s attention economy. Her approach combines business strategy and digital communication to help clients create meaningful market differentiation.

Emily is also the former Founder and CEO of VentureX, an edtech platform recognized for its innovative approach to delivering accessible business education to global audiences. She has worked closely with startups through a venture capital lens, advising on growth strategy and market expansion.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Emily serves on the board of The Americas Foundation, a nonprofit focused on bringing high-level educational programs to underserved communities in Tijuana, Mexico. She has also spoken internationally at events including UN Climate Week and Web Summit in Portugal.

After-Networking will take place at Via Alloro in their Garden Patio. Only those who attend the meeting prior are able to attend the after-networking portion. 

Registration closes at 2pm on May 19 - anyone trying to register afterwards will be subject to pay the at-door fee.
