DESCRIPTION:The tradition continues as Wally's stages the 22nd edition of its unique and highly-anticipated Grande Marque Champagne Tasting on Sunday\, June 1st from 5-8pm at Le Merigot Hotel in Santa Monica. Once again over 50 Grande Marque Champagnes will be poured\, including Dom P rignon\, Krug\, Salon and Cristal\, alongside signature dishes offered from nearly 20 leading restaurants. Caf  del Rey returns with its sumptuous raw bar\, complete with oysters\, and Celestino Drago   a supporter since our inaugural Grande Marque affair back in 1992   will feature Drago Centro\, his downtown L.A. hot spot. Other restaurants set to attend: Angelini Osteria\, Brentwood\, C zanne at Le Merigot\, Chinois On Main\, Goldies\, Locanda del Lago\, Marino Ristorante\, M lisse\, Michael's\, Oliviero at Avalon Hotel\, Pastina\, Saddle Peak Lodge\, StarKing BBQ\, Sweet Butter Kitchen and West at Hotel Angeleno.\n\n\n\nAdditional taste-treats will include Petrossian Caviar\, delicacies from Wally's Cheese Box and Nespresso coffee plus other surprises. The David Arana Quartet's live music will again set the tone for a lively evening\, while a silent auction will present a number of unique wine-buying opportunities\, along with special tours\, tastings and overnight accommodations.\n\n\n\nProceeds raised for this year's event will benefit the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation and Food on Foot.
