SUMMARY:Special GAC meeting - tour busses
DESCRIPTION:At the Chamber's February GAC meeting\, the Chamber announced that it would be holding a special GAC meeting devoted to the tour bus issue in Beverly Hills. This meeting has been scheduled for Thursday\, March 26 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Chamber Board Room located at 9400 S. Santa Monica Blvd.\, 2nd Floor. \n\n\n\nThe goal of this meeting is to advance some of the discussions at the recent City Ad-Hoc and Council meetings towards possible solutions. These areas include hop-on-hop-off locations\, staging areas\, traffic enforcement and the presence of busses on Rodeo Drive.\n\n\n\n \n\nAmong the invited guests will be tour bus operators\, interested merchants and hoteliers. We will also announce this meeting at our March 19 GAC meeting (which will proceed as normal) and seek the permission of the Rodeo Drive Committee to announce it at their March 11 meeting.\n\n\n\nThe City of Beverly Hills has been looking to further regulate tour bus usage in Beverly Hills.
