Government Affairs Committee Meeting
Please come out for our September Government Affairs Committee meeting where we will be discussing and voting on matters of interest to the business community.
The City of Beverly Hills is current working to update its water conservation ordinance, including making certain water use restrictions permanent. Come hear a presentation from the City about its proposal, ask questions and provide your input.
Proposition 6 is a measure to repeal SB 1, the Road Repair & Accountability Act of 2017, which provides $5.2 annually for road repairs and transportation infrastructure. Come hear a presentation regarding this measure and its potential impact.
Proposition 10 seeks to repeal the Costa-Hawkins Act which places certain limitations on the ability of cities to impose rent control. Come hear a discussion about this important issue going before the voters in November.
We will also get updates on important local, state and federal matters.
