Catimini's Beverly Hills Boutique Opening Event
Very excited to share that the Paris-based luxury children's brand, Catimini, is officially opening in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, April 16th. From 4pm-8pm we would like to invite Los Angeles' most stylish parents, children, and influencers, to enjoy refreshments, light bites, Catimini's Spring Summer 2014 collection, and of course, children's entertainment. As a part of the Zannier Group, Catimini's sister brands include Kenzo Kids and Jean-Paul Gaultier for children. This LA expansion is a major step for Catimini, as there is no other French brand investing in the US children's fashion category quite like the Zannier Group. The Beverly Hills Bar Association Barristers Committee for the Arts, Presents: ''Sights and Sounds From the Courtroom'' An enchanting evening featuring the artwork of courtroom sketch artist, Bill Robles and the music of Gary Greene, Esq. and his Big Band of barristers. In connection with the L.A. Law Library's Annual Law Week, the Barristers Committee for the Arts is honored to co-host a celebration of the rule of law, as shown through the Arts! Enjoy the music of Gray Green, Esq. and his Big Band of Barristers, while previewing original courtroom sketches by Bill Robles, the courtroom artist who sketched the trails of Michael Jackson, Charles Manson, and Rodney King. Please join us for this unforgettable evening of art, music, and mingling, while celebrating the rule of law. Guests are invited to a free MCLE prior to the reception Right to Counsel in Civic Cases 4:30 P.M. - 5:30 P.M. 1 Hour MCLE Second District Court of Appeal Justice Earl Johnson, Jr. (ret.) will speak on the history of a right to equal justice in European nations and the United States, and the related ''civic Gideon'' movement. The right to equal justice in civic cases, Justice Johnson will argue, would often, although not always, entail the right to representation by an attorney, analogous to the right to counsel in criminal cases recognized in Gideon v.
