Black History Month: Milestones at The Paley Center for Media
During the month of February, the Paley Center will honor achievements and milestones in African-American culture with screenings of everything from the Million Man March, the Black Panther trials, and Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech to such groundbreaking shows as I, Spy, Julia, Roots, The Jeffersons, and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Screenings start at 3:00 pm each day, and admission is free. The Paley Center for Media is open Wednesday through Sunday, 12 noon to 5:00 pm. Check www.paleycenter.org for an ongoing schedule.
