GAC Meeting - Boffo Cinemas & Repaving Santa Monica
Please join us for this month’s Beverly Hills Government Affairs Committee meeting on Thursday, October 17 from 8:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m.
· Deputy Director of Transportation Aaron Kunz will provide an update on the recently formed Santa Monica Blvd. Blue Ribbon Task Force. This Task Force will be meeting over the coming months to develop recommendations on the conceptual design of the boulevard. Primary items for consideration are landscape medians and bike lanes.
· Carlos Wellman from BOFFO Cinemas and Greg Simonoff from SMS Architects will follow with a presentation about a proposed new luxury movie theater on North Canon Drive just north of the Montage Hotel.
Additionally, there will be an announcement about the upcoming Section I Advisory Group Meeting for the Purple Line Extension on Oct. 29 at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Please click here for more information about that meeting.
