Please join us for our October Government Affairs Committee meeting where we will be discussing several critical issues for our community.
We will have an update from the Beverly Hills Police Department on security plans surrounding the November 2020 election.
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) has requested a waiver of the current moratorium on work during the holidays (Thanksgiving to New Year's) in Beverly Hills in regards to the Purple Line Subway Extension, Section 2. Please come out for a presentation and discussion of this request and to provide your input as a member of the Chamber.
The November election is quickly approaching. We will have an update on several key measures on the November ballot, including Propositions 15, 21 and Beverly Hills Measure RP. The City of Beverly Hills also has a number of key policy items on its fall agenda, including (1) evaluation of a potential second entrance/exit to the Wilshire/Rodeo Station; (2) evaluation of a potential mixed use ordinance; and (3) evaluation of potential changes to laws on medical space in the City. Please attend for updates on the Chamber's positions on these items and ways you can be involved.
