An Introduction to Protecting Your Business from an Active Shooter
The active shooter scenario is one of the most serious emerging threats facing society. Incidents involving active shooters are on the rise and are becoming deadlier and more violent. Although there is no way to accurately predict who will become a shooter or when, there are potential indicators that many active shooters exhibit before an attack.
This introduction course is designed to provide a basic framework for individuals, including business owners, managers, school administrators and employees to help prepare, prevent and defend against an active shooter threat.
About the instructors:
Mr. David Perez is the CEO of OMEGA International Group, with 25 years of experience in protection. He is a Veteran U.S. Marine who has worked in the White House and Pentagon, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California.
Eddie Hernandez is the VP of OMEGA International Group, with over 27 years of Law Enforcement experience with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department where he holds the rank of Lieutenant. Eddie has a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration and a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California.
