Role Overview: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting GCX’s marketing initiatives through the coordination and organization of marketing deliverables, ensuring alignment with company objectives. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to proactively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Position Responsibilities 
Manage internal and external marketing deliverables including coordination & follow up with GCX teams to ensure requirements are met. (External material includes introductions, lookbooks, proposals, pitch decks, invitations, sponsorship ads etc. Internal material includes event flyers, newsletters, all-hand presentations, company updates, field reference binder, etc.)

Initiate Request for Proposals (RFP) outline, intent and strategy.

Brand of Assets - Develop and refresh GCX’s style guidelines and design templates. This includes revamping Job Description templates, Resume Templates, DEI Stat pages, Sustainability stat pages, Project Pages, etc.

Social Media - Produce weekly Social Media content for Instagram/LinkedIn/ Facebook to highlight projects, awards, and recognition opportunities.

Website - Manage website updates and coordinate with website developer to ensure website is accurate and running efficiently 24/7.

Coordinate photography for all completed projects.

Capture and organize photos at all industry & internal events.

Awards - Research new awards, accolades or publication opportunities to promote GCX projects or people. Write up and coordinate nominations. Proactively manage & track deadlines for awards.

Manage all GCX sponsorships and necessary deliverables for each agreement.

Create & maintain the Marketing Handbook to capture marketing dept. processes.

Project Database - Update and maintain the project database including size, location, type of project, etc.

References Database - Update and maintain the references database to track company wide and individual clients, consultants, subcontractors, designers, etc.

Office Management - Oversee daily office operations to ensure a seamless workplace. (Includes mail distribution, snack program, printer, office supplies, etc). Provide occasional support to executives in managing their calendars effectively.


Company Events - Assist in the execution of all internal/ external events. (All hands, Lunch & learns, Team outings, Holiday party, etc.)

Qualifications
Proficiency in Canva, including knowledge of templates, branding kits, and advanced design features.

Basic understanding of graphic design principles, such as color theory, typography, and layout design.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.

Strive for proficiency in comprehending, implementing, and guiding all facets of GCX’s processes, procedures, and values.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
