Prior to Studio AArde, Amin worked for respected design practices in Boston and Los Angeles, where he collaborated with a group of clients in a variety of market sectors—civic, institutional, commercial, and residential. His enthusiasm for design has led to his work expanding across disciplines into graphic design and interior architecture. With over a decade of experience, Amin honed his expertise on award-winning projects such as offices, libraries, multifamily housing, and public space. He was exhibited for design excellence at ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.
AArde is an interdisciplinary design studio based in Los Angeles. Studio AArde’s work ranges in scale from architecture to interiors, graphic design, and visual art. Studio AArde believes that intelligent design matters; we specialize in communicating ideas with a less-is-more approach. The Dutch word aarde /ˈaːr.də/ is cognate with ertha in Old Saxon meaning soil, ground, land, Planet Earth.
