Dr. Barrett is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles California. He specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. Since starting his own practice in 2014, he has performed over 5,000 breast augmentation procedures and practicing plastic surgery for nearly 17 years. His passion is providing natural results with minimal downtime, utilizing holistic approaches. He has developed detailed scar management protocols and closure techniques to reduce the appearance of scars for his patients.

Dr. Barrett was raised in Warrenton, Virginia; a small town known for nature and horses. Dr. Barrett obtained his Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University and his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and two Masters degrees (in Physiology and Health Administration (M.S., M.H.A.)) from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
In addition to receiving his board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery—the premier board of plastic surgeons—he completed a six-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Keck Hospital of USC. Training at one of the top-ranked hospitals in America gave him exposure to, and mentorship from, some of the best aesthetic surgeons in the Beverly Hills area.

He has been practicing since 2008 and opened his Beverly Hills office in 2014. During that time he has made numerous appearances on the television show The Doctors, providing charitable work for massive weight loss patients. He also appears on Entertainment Television as an expert on the latest plastic surgery trends and techniques. He is actively involved in research to reduce implant-related capsular contracture. He has recently presented internationally his findings on breast implant malposition and correction.

In his free time, Dr. Barrett enjoys traveling and trying new foods. He is an avid fine art and sculpture enthusiast. He grows organic vegetables, keeps bees in his backyard and runs marathons. By far his greatest accomplishment, however, is marrying his incredibly strong wife Rosalyn. Together, they have three daughters and recently welcomed their first son in June 2024. His strong family ties and genuine bedside manner are what distinguish him from others in this profession—patients are treated with the same care and compassion he gives to the most important people in his life.

Knowing that he is bringing joy and confidence to his clients is the biggest motivating factor behind Dr. Barrett’s passion. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the Beverly Hills and West Hollywood Chambers of Commerce and has hospital privileges at St John’s in Santa Monica, Good Samaritan, and Southern California Hospital in Culver City.
